Five Favourite Fashion Stores

Forever New

Why I Love It: Forever New is home to classic, vintage inspired styles alongside on-trend pieces (the Tribal Muse collection is in store now). Whatever the item, everything is ladylike, classy and beautifully detailed. This international brand has stores in several countries, including Australia, with a store in most major cities. Most stores have a constant sale rack and accessories will usually cost you less than a twenty.

What You'll Find: Think 60s swing coats, crocheted T-bar heels and cute structured handbags.

Tree of Life

Why I Love It: Tree of Life makes fair trade fashion easily accessible, with stores in most cities as well as a new online shop.  There is something for every budget, with items varying in price depending on the level of detail and the materials used.

What You'll Find: Hand-embroidered soft furnishings, bohemian clothing and accessories.

Why I Love It: Asos is a fabulous online destination for a huge range of brands. There is always an incredible number of items available in every fashion category. Asos Marketplace also connects people selling their second-hand clothes and accessories with vintage-loving buyers. Asos promises that all of their items were produced ethically and the same goes for any animal materials used. International free shipping always applies and uni students can get discounts (in some countries).

What You'll Find: Almost everything! Cool sneakers, edgy party dresses and vintage finds.

Colette by Colette Hayman

Why I Love It: Colette has a huge range of accessories including on-trend and classic jewellery, bags and hair accessories. The stores are bigger than your average equip so there's more stock to choose from and, in my experience, the pieces are more unique and cost even less. I love, love, love the bags and I challenge anyone to enter one of these stores and leave empty handed.

What You'll Find: Cute earring sets, gorgreous totes and collar necklaces.

Why I Love It: The cute clothing and accessories are generally unique to Sportsgirl rather than a lot of other chain stores which sell the same products with different labels. Bags and shoes usually cost more than the other accessories but most of the jewellery is $20 or less. I also love that there is always something on sale, I once got a pair of sneakers for $10!

What You'll Find: Printed sweaters, classic mini dresses and on-trend statement jewellery.
