Salvation Army Thrift Haul - Surry Hills Edition

It's finally time to share my thrifted finds from the Salvation Army Family Store in Crown Street, Surry Hills. I have to say, this particular shopping trip definitely takes the cake as my most successful second-hand shopping experience so far.

As this op shop is located in a nice suburb the donations are of  higher quality than what most stores receive, yet I was pleasantly surprised to find that the prices remained very low. You will find that the occasional item is marked with a (low)price tag but every other unmarked item of clothing is set at $5!

I purchased 4 items all of which appeared new and barely showed any signs of wear apart from one lose button which was easily restitched at home. I picked up a Bluejuice ruffle tank, a pair of Talulah nautical-inspired shorts, an American Apparel pastel knit pencil skirt (which is divine by the way) and a champagne Forever New shirt dress each for $5.

The racks are very well-organised into different styles of clothing and you will find pieces from fashion-forward chains like Sportsgirl, Bardot and everyone's online fave Asos alongside higher-end brands like Wheels and Dollbaby. Regardless of labels, almost everything that I saw on display was in very good condition I even spotted a few New-With-Tags gems (sometimes in mutliples!)
